Coloração vermelho púrpura. No nariz, bouquet complexo, típico de especiarias (baunilha, pimenta, cravo) com notas de amoras maduras. Na boca, cheio com sabor de baunilha, taninos redondos, acidez equilibrada e nota de madeira. Sabor longo com intenso aroma de marmelo.

Harmoniza bem com massas com molhos encorpados, carnes vermelhas e de caças e queijo azul.

" The 2018 Axia Syrah-Xinomavro is the typical and equal blend of Syrah and Xinomavro, aged for 12 months in an equal mixture of new and second-use French barriques. It comes in at 14.7% alcohol. This is not quite as refined as the monovarietal Syrah in this report, but the addition of the Xinomavro makes this more nuanced and also seems to add a little structure. Deep and ripe, this also adds grip on the finish to go with the flavor and mouth-coating demeanor. There's a bit of tannic pop, but the tannins are ripe enough so that they don't get too much in the way. You can drink this now. This is impressive for the Axia range. It should age pretty well, another decade or more, and develop nicely over several years too. It's a nice value."
